A revenue split show is a way to invite another person to your show, to be automatically paid out by Side Door. As the person who creates the show, you have full control over the details of the show, and can send a Show Draft to your payee for approval.

*It’s important to note that whoever CREATES the show is technically the owner, with full access, and therefore responsible for edits and/or canceling the show.

Once the Payee is invited, the revenue slider can be manipulated to whichever split percentage you choose, calculating the potential earnings of each payee.

NOTE: If you already have connections on Side Door, you will also have the option to select someone from that list of connections, in lieu of inviting by email.

In an email, the Payee will be prompted to either contact you with potential changes / questions, or to approve the Show Draft.

NOTE: Upon approval from the Payee, the show will be published and the ticket link will be live.

The Payee can then choose to create a profile, in order to have their profile associated with the show, receive reviews, chat with you in platform, and view ticket sales. Or, they can simply remain as a Payee, without a Side Door profile and will be prompted to add their payout details.
