Upon purchasing a ticket, the user will be asked if they would like to share their email address with the artist(s) / show organizer(s). Any user who has opted into this feature will have their name and email address made available to you in the Guestlist Manager of your show.
*Users who have not opted in will appear on the show guestlist, but only as the name they provided when purchasing the ticket. Their email address will be hidden.
Private Message To Ticket Holders
If you have important information to relay to guests, you can edit your Private Message to Ticket Holders under your show’s Promo tab. This message will go out to guests with show reminder emails 3 days before the show, as well as on the day of the show. You can set a different Private Message to Ticketholders for each ticket type you have.
Email All Ticket Holders
If you have special information to share, you may also Email all of your ticket holders at once by hitting the Email Ticket Holders button in the top right of your show’s Overview tab. We ask that you use this feature sparingly to minimize spam. Recipients will not be able to respond to your blast, so please provide them with an email address if you’d like them to respond to you. If you’d like to use this function after the show has concluded, please contact your designated support staff member.
*This can be useful for sharing pertinent information about your show quickly, introducing fans to your mailing-list, conducting post-show mail-outs, sending out download links etc.
How do I access my show’s Promo and Overview tabs?
1. Log into your Side Door account here
2. After logging in, click the downward arrow beside the Side Door logo in the top left of the screen and select Ticketing
3. Find your show in the right sidebar and hit Manage
4. You'll land on your show's Overview tab from here, and can toggle to your Promo tab from the top navigation bar!
