Please note: Integration of a Side Door user’s personal Zoom account with the Side Door platform has been discontinued as of Oct 13th 2020. The following information is still available for the posterity of any users who linked their account(s) or booked a(ny) show(s) before Oct 13th. All integrated Zoom shows booked on or after Oct 13th only use Side Door Zoom accounts, and thus the following information does not apply.
Zoom is Side Door’s recommended streaming platform for online shows. It allows performers to easily broadcast their own multi-input audio and video content to attendees, while also allowing participants to choose to join using their device cameras and participate via text chat in an interactive experience that connects and engages the performers and attendees like no other.
Integrate your Zoom account with Side Door to quickly set up Zoom meetings for your upcoming shows. The Side Door app enables Side Door artists and presenters to quickly integrate their Side Door account with their Zoom account. Upon publishing a show, the integration creates and schedules a new Zoom meeting with a secure password. This Zoom meeting is then shared with ticket purchasers for a seamless experience.

The Side Door customer support team can assist users with integrating Zoom to the platform if any issues arise, and are available between the hours of 8AM ET and 7PM ET Mondays through Saturdays by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org. The team will provide a response within an hour to two hours containing possible solutions, or be able to offer information on how soon the solution will be available.
To integrate your Zoom account with Side Door, you must enter the online show booking flow. Click here to learn more about how to book an online show with Side Door, or click ‘Online Shows’ when logged in to the Side Door user Dashboard to get started.
Once you have arrived on the ‘Platform’ step of Side Door’s online show booking flow, follow these steps to integrate your Zoom account with your show:
Click Interactive Show to select Zoom as your streaming platform of choice for your show
Under Interactive show details, click Not secure (Basic Zoom account) or Secure (Pro+)
Scroll down to click ‘Connect or create Zoom account’
Sign in to your Zoom account with your existing credentials.
Once signed in, return to the ‘Platform’ step of Side Door’s online show booking flow
Select the desired Zoom account you wish to use for your online show
Click ‘Save & Continue’ to move on with the remainder of Side Door’s online show booking flow
Follow these steps to remove your Zoom account from Side Door:
Sign in to marketplace.zoom.us
Click ‘Manage’, then click ‘Installed Apps’
Search for Side Door in the Installed Apps page
Click the ‘Uninstall’ button next to Side Door
When uninstalling Side Door’s Zoom integration, any online shows you have booked with Zoom selected as the streaming platform will retain the meeting and invitation links generated upon show booking. If you wish to also remove Zoom as the streaming platform of choice, please contact email@example.com for assistance in making changes to your booked show(s).
