You know your kids/pets best and how to create a situation that won’t be stressful. Sometimes that means reserving a certain spot for children/pets or arranging alternative care ahead of time. Sometimes, having the children or pets present for soundcheck can help practice for the show later on. Or, consider inviting a watchful friend and keeping a room in your space quiet and separated to bring kids/pets to in case the event overwhelms them. Either way, be sure to include in your Venue description that you have a pet and/or livestock, and discuss with the Artist in the show thread about pets/children present. As long as you keep your own comfort, as well as the comfort of your Artists and audience in mind, you’re bound to make the right call - oh, and don’t forget to warn everyone involved about any potential allergens!
